I am writing to let you know that I have been enjoying your publishing project, and the presentation on the blog is great, I wish I could successfully translate it. But the poem kind of says it all, doesn't it? You had me thinking for a while about the summary of our teaching writing approach here as weird publishing in strange public places. Its appealing to think that this is observation has been written as a poem in a public place--where was that bathroom with the whiteboard anyway? The lipstick poem...it's like a Hollywood image, lipstick on mirrors and so on, very Marilyn Monroe. I hope you had a good time exploring some of these creative approaches to the teaching of writing and how to make writing exciting for students. It was great to have you in the class, and I thank you for the international perspectives you brought to the course throughout. I'm sorry you couldn't make the last class, it was great fun, and we got a brief peak but that was all. So I have been going through taking my time with all the excellent work that was produced. I truly enjoyed your piece, it seems intimate, political, pedagogical, to me. The one thing I would like to see on the blog is another photo in which the whole door (and entire text) was visible, although I get the artistry of the partial shot, and the poem is included on the blog, so...I hope your life and writing continue to be so full of adventure.
